It was 1987 in the Midwestern city of Humboldt, Kansas. Roger Baker was passing declining demand for his chops as a classic auto restorer, and Joe Works had endured several tough times on the family ranch. To give for their families, they began applying their chops in a new way — structure custom truck beds under the name B&W.
