Veterans in Healthcare (VIH) was founded by Mark Shafer, a former Hospital Corpsman (Devil Doc). His feeling was that there was a need for a site dedicated to those Heroes who work in a Healthcare capacity in the military. These Heroes include Physicians, Advanced Practice professionals, Healthcare Administrators, Nurses, and Corpsman/Medics. They cross all service branches.
